Amelie takes her time to warm up to people, and likes to do things in her own time. For example, she will happily walk past and brush against you, but if you try pick her up for a cuddle she will run away. She enjoys sitting quietly next to people and would do best in a quiet home with another cat for company (or on her own). Amelie likes exploring and is a curious cat.
Amelie walked into the good hands of a kind Samaritan on one of the military bases and has since been trying to find a home of her own.
